Screws with larger specifications are generally hexagon socket screws or hexagon socket screws. We all know that hexagon socket screws have many functions. No matter how good the fasteners are, they may become loose after being used for a long time. Let's talk about some common problems encountered when using hexagon socket screws.

Hexagon socket screws are used for fastening. They are often vibrated and shaken when installed on the machine, so some hexagon socket screws may become loose. In order to avoid this phenomenon, we have to use some anti-loosening treatment. There are many ways to prevent loosening:

1. It is more common to add a suitable spring washer between the hexagon socket screw and the workpiece. The function of the spring washer is to increase the pressure through rebound force, which can well increase the anti-loosening effect of the hexagon socket screw.

2. Do anti-drop glue at the tail of the hexagon socket screw thread. This anti-loosening method is more used on small screws. The glue on the screw has good viscosity and will effectively adhere to the thread surface. It is also very thin and can play a good anti-loosening role after tightening with the threaded hole.

3. If the hexagon socket screw is used in a place where it does not need to be disassembled, the screw can be welded to the installation place after the screw is installed, which can play a very good anti-loosening role, but the used hexagon socket screw cannot be disassembled and used again.

The installation or removal of the hexagon socket screw may encounter the slip phenomenon, so what are the causes of the slip phenomenon and how to deal with it?

1. First, confirm whether the hexagon socket of the hexagon socket screw meets the standard size. If the hexagon socket is too large, it will cause the slip phenomenon.

2. Check whether there is a problem with the hexagon key. Some hexagon keys will be worn after a long time of use, and the size may become smaller, so the slip occurs during installation.

3. If the hexagon socket screw cannot be removed because it is tightened too much, you can use a hammer to hit it against the screwdriver or use sturdy pliers to clamp the screw and then slowly unscrew it.
